everyone in my family has a german cousin they ‘match’ with. my mom has alke, i have lisa, claudia has sanni, sean has henner, natalie has jule. it’s something that my mom started and continued, and by god i’m so happy she did. lisa and i barely know each other, but every time i say goodbye i cry more than i do in any other situation. we’re family.
